Charles Presti

Exhibiting Artist | Collaborator | Visual Storyteller

Charles Presti returns to painting after more than twenty-five years with a body of work rooted in memory, observation, and the quiet passage of time. What began as a personal promise to one day pick up a brush again has evolved into a deeply intentional artistic practice.

Working primarily in acrylic, Presti transforms lived moments into layered, polygonal compositions that feel both structured and deeply human. His distinctive geometric style serves as a visual language for memory itself, fragmented, layered, and reassembled into something cohesive and lasting.

His subjects are drawn from everyday life. Family moments, domestic rituals, fleeting interactions, and the subtle pauses that often go unnoticed. A child mid-motion. A quiet exchange across a kitchen counter. A moment suspended just before it disappears. Each piece preserves these instances with clarity and emotional depth.

Presti’s work is honest. Nothing feels overly staged or idealized. Instead, his paintings reflect life as it unfolds, imperfect, intimate, and immediate.

Since returning to painting in 2025, his work has quickly gained recognition among collectors for its narrative depth and contemporary aesthetic. His compositions invite viewers to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the quiet significance of everyday moments.
